The German IT Round-Table offers a real opportunity to meet CEOs from Indian software companies and talk about your concerns in partnering with them to build scale and capacities for growth into your business.
One of Indo-German Software Competence Network's (www.ingescon.org) goals in organizing this event is to clear the Fog of Myths. People talk much about favorite cliches like quality, reliability, communication etc - but this would be the first opportunity for most companies to establish first contact with prospective partners from India, and hopefully form a positive first impression. Afterall, Microsoft, Google, Oracle, SAP, Yahoo, eBay, Texas Instruments, Bosch and Daimler all get their software made in India - there must be something in it for us small & medium sized companies as well!
We will be addressing two key issues at this year's German IT Round-Table at the Stuttgart Rathaus this year that will likely effect the future of your company.
Innovation
Are you being innovative enough? Not locally, but on a global standard? Have you built innovative capacities into your team, which, alongside making money for the company today, has potential for future growth, powered by innovation? Or do you feel that creative people on your team are NOT doing ground-breaking work that has a global meaning, even though they are capable of it?
If any of the above is true, it's time to look at an India partner for adding capacities that can take over day-to-day work packages and free up your team for project management, customer interfacing and INNOVATION.
Building Scale
Do you have more work orders from customers than you are currently able to satisfy? Why should revenue that can be made today be postponed to tomorrow, when your employees finish the current project and only then have time to move on to the next one?
Is there a smarter way of organizing your work-force by using Global Sourcing methods? How would you like to team up with an Indian supplier and access a much larger work-force, and then focus on establishing process best practices that will ensure smooth delivery?
Both the above issues are key to growth, competitiveness and future positions of small and medium sized IT/software companies in Germany.
The German IT Round-Table will be a serious opportunity for addressing these issues for your company.
